18 Daoist Palms’ Integrated Martial Arts Kenpo Ju Jitsu Locking Tecjniques 1. These are the first section of foundational techniques comprised of three sections of Orange Belt Techniques. Our new addition of this material will be comprised of Locking Techniques 1 and 2 of three sections. This will be 24 foundational techniques that will set the tone for the Slipping Set 1 Locks which are 17 more techniques. In this same series we will share 17 clips I shot at Grandmaster Adams’ Improvised Weapons Seminar held in San Diego June 1, 2002. An extra three clips are introductory to the seminar. Finally we have some end of seminar conclusion ‘review’ clips. Five Elder information requires a thorough knowledge of jujitsu or chin-na. Grandmaster Adams will show you the major principles of these core techniques that can spin off into near infinite combinations. Remember, Grandmaster Adams has over 40 years in the arts. He ran a school of Grandmaster Ed Parker’s and worked with Grandmaster Dan Inosanto as well as the late Bruce Lee, Grandmasters Doo, Thomas and German to name a few. He was Grandmaster Linekin’s teacher in Kenpo and Grandmaster Linekin taught me. These are my roots and they are priceless components no one can afford not to know. Learn as you go. I recommend getting the 12 techniques in ‘Locking Techniques 1’ and also the 12 techniques of ‘Locking Techniques 2.’ When you get those clips, and have a foundation, get the ‘Improvised Weapons Seminar 20 Techniques,’ from the June 1st 2002 seminar in San Diego. Our list will also include the 24 techniques re-done and narrated by Grandmaster Adams that articulate what happens medically when 24 points that were inspired by Bruce Lee are stuck. These 24 are mandatory to understand very well. In Locking Technique 2’s 12 techniques, number 7 is unique in that it covers 8 and 9 briefly. Number 8 is the Arm Bar Come Along (Outside Elbow Lock – Figure 4,) and number 9 is High Punch (Inside Elbow Lock – Figure 4.) It turned out best to keep these together in the editing process. You get a bit extra bang for your buck on this number 7.

Slipping Set 1 – (Locks). *Note: These are like a chin-na two-person exercise. They extrapolate 17 of the 24 locking techniques previously listed. This series comes with an introduction clip as well as a conclusion clip. These are sold in ‘sections.’ The introduction clip only comes with techniques 1-4. The second clip covers 5-8, and the third clip covers 9-12. Clip 3 covers techniques 13-15 and the last clip covers techniques 16 and 17.
To re-cap: The introduction clip is sent as an extra clip when you order 114-117. The next clip covers 118-121, the clip after that covers 122-125, the next clip covers 126-128 and the last clip 129-130. On the last clip we throw in the ‘conclusion’ clip. Remember folks, these string together and the pieces add as you go, to result in a continuous flow through 17 techniques extrapolated from the 24 Orange Belt Locking Techniques 1 and 2 series listed prior. One person acts as the dummy while being put in one lock after the other in a continuous flow. Afterwards the dummy gets the chance to put the moves on his partner. Eventually they are done both sides and blind folded, plus against different body types. These body types usually fall into categories of taller and stronger, taller and weaker, shorter and stronger and shorter and weaker.

I was fortunate enough in June of 2002, to film an improvised weapons seminar Grandmaster Brian Adams filmed in San Diego. The following 17 techniques were extrapolated from the seminar. Remember on your Windows Media Player, that the brightness, hue, contrast…etcetera can be tweaked for your viewing preferences. Also remember you can learn these best, in my opinion from the full screen view. The focus of these techniques is to introduce you to the versatility of methods one can spin from the core techniques in the locking techniques and slipping set. We are merely reaching out with the principles of what we already covered to include everyday improvised weapons. Some of these will include a long stick, short rope covered pain-compliance stick, pen, pool stick, rags and towels, carpenter levels and dust stick brooms, regular size broom and a book.
- C234 - Technique 1 (Long Stick)

- C235 - Technique 2 (Long Stick)

- C236 - Technique 3 (Long Stick)

- C237 - Technique 4 (Rope Covered Pain Compliance Short Stick)

- C238 - Technique 5 (Long Stick)

- C239 - Technique 6 (Long Stick)

- C240 - Technique 7 (Shop Brush and Window Squeegy)

- C241 - Technique 8 (Carpenter Level)

- C242 - Technique 9 (Square Sided Stick)

- C243 - Technique 10 (Flexible Weapon Towel and Long Stick)

- C244 - Technique 11 (Towel)

- C245 - Technique 12 (Towel)

- C246 - Technique 13 (Towel)

- C247 - Technique 14 (Pool Stick, Broom and Crutch)

- C248 - Technique 15 (Golf Club and Pool Stick)

- C249 - Technique 16 (Pool Stick)

- C250 - Technique 17 (Soft Bound Books)

At Seminar ending, I filmed some review clips.

18 Daoist Palms’ White Tiger Snake Staff Beginner Form. This is a great beginner staff form of impeccable lineage filmed by Shi Fu John Cox. This solo beginner form is actually quite advanced. My former teacher and I originally made a production out of this form and I gained a lot of knowledge working directly with my former teacher doing the breakdowns.

We have a special secret form in the Mew Hing 18 Daoist Palms System called “Dragon’s Shadow / Daoist Palms.” This is the solo form done both sides with finishing moves. Remember, for best results use the color, brightness and contrast controls in Windows Media Player at full screen view. This is an advanced form done by Shi Fu Ralph Prosdocimi.

Grandmaster Adams let me film these narrations of his 24 points and effects inspired from his training with Bruce Lee. Before dim mak or iron forces were being covered in mainstream media martial media, there were these 24 cream of the crop real deal places to strike with deadly results. Always obey the legal implications of self defense! No dim mak course should come before the knowledge of these core 24 best of the best. Just to hear Brian narrate these in his own voice along with illustrations and photos to see, makes this a unique way to learn in-depth places on the body you should know not only how to strike, but what happens medically!
*Note: The Introduction come with the first two clips only as a bonus. These clips are two for $10. You can only order $10 minimum.
