18 Daoist Palms’ Herb Books 1 to 5
-
These books are for historical study purposes only. Consult your doctor and obey all laws.
These are herbal lists translated by my herbalist in modern Chinese so as to preserve the original
copies. Having the lists in Chinese is most always a plus when working with a licensed Chinese
Medicine Doctor, licensed Chinese Herbalist, ones’ Western Medicine Doctor and a multitude of
qualified council. You must assume all risk; we are not responsible for your actions. Study these
in the context of ‘why’ the monks would have likely come up with such combinations. To do this
you will need to be grounded in Christ and merely study the Chinese cosmogony to understand how
they took the Abraham/Melchizedek teachings of positive and aggressive and negative and retiring,
and used these two simpleton principles to develop the basis of all truisms that underlie the arts;
‘chi.’ Remember: these are authentic five elder lineage martial herbal lists for study purposes
only. I will say that in my opinion, these five books; each on a CD in .PDF – are perhaps the first
series of its kind worldwide. Indeed, the most authentic, most amount of quality dit da jows for
iron palm and dim mak and a few priceless soups and tonics to study for a very low price. The photos
are in color and my herbalist wrote at least 15 or so in Chinese for your herbalist to actually be
able to understand, with Chinese language weights and western weights! Being .PDF files on CD allows
for easy printing and full color photos. Thanks to my herbalist this rare information is given
worldwide now for artists lacking in herbal knowledge to ‘catch up.’ The .PDF books average about
80 pages and a hundred hours each to make.
There are no refunds. To read the .PDF files you will
need Adobe Acrobat’s free Acrobat Reader download from their site at
www.adobe.com
It has been said “herbs and meditations are what make an art internal.”
In other words, all arts can benefit from authentic five elder lineage herbal lists that are a part
of what we teach for historical purposes only so as to better understand the mind set of the monks
working with pagan science before biotechnology. Always consult your western and eastern Chinese
medical doctor and licensed Chinese herbalist to further understand these herbal lists. These first
five books consumed about five years of my time, hundreds of hours, lots of expense and most important,
cooperation with my personal herbalist of over 20 years! My first herb column was written in 1986
while I had a column in Karate Kung-Fu Illustrated.
This first series started off with a book I co-authored with Lohon
Andy Williams. It served as a foundation and proto-type of sorts. I learned that the real value of
a martial art book of legendary herbal lists, would really only be of most value to those wishing
to bring it to a licensed Chinese medical doctor and brought up to modern standards for an herbalist
to then fill for study purposes. I personally do not recommend getting into actually experimenting
with these unless you consult your western doctor as well as a licensed Chinese herb shop, are 21
years or older, assume all risks and remember these are according to legend only. We make no medical
claims, but we wish to preserve a part of the past to see if there is any merit in their use today,
given it is understood that many ingredients in these may no longer be deemed safe, legal or available
to get. What my intent was in writing these was to fill a void. Not only are these cherry picked for
their martial arts historical relevance, but as well, their containing of the Chinese writing of not
only the ingredient but its weight, photo and Latin or common name to go by as well for cross
referencing in a good Chinese Materia Medica.
