For those of you wanting the same product as our VHS tapes, you must remember there are benefits to each format. VHS is more expensive because of the time to reproduce and the cost of the tape plus more expense to mail due to weight. I fill all orders personally by hand. We like it that way! VHS will not last as long as CD. We use Windows Movie Maker to at the highest quality 30 fps it offers. The size we are limited to is 320 x 240. Windows Media Player 9.0 is my suggestion for playback. I can get three to four one hour average video productions on one CD using my method. Another good thing about this method is that as far as I know it will play in any computer in the regions of the world, as opposed to DVD which I believe must be ‘region’ formatted. This later advantage is a big one and a time saver.

The way Mew Hing Productions works, is we teach our home study students to be true entrepreneurs, geared to run lean and efficiently. The reason I mention this is to bring attention to the fact that our series #3 tapes are home quality. We make the tapes and edit ourselves. We do this because we gain experience and get better as we go along. The point we try to make is the quality of lineage substance. We also realize most of our home study students care more about substance and readily available titles more than bells and whistles without substance material. Also realize that you are only using the CD’s and videos as a ‘tool’ to learn the forms on your own to re-do. Each generation anew must learn the culture of 18 Daoist Palms and how we operate our home study video/CD exchange certification program now in its 12th year. Our eldest ranking student via this method has tested yearly on time plus contributed products back into the system for the last 11 years. Many claim to have trained and received certification from us to teach only that which is listed on their certificate. Ask any Lohon how many ‘yearly’ certificates they have accomplished in our 15 year course to Master Shi Fu. Always ask a Lohon or so-called certified instructor what it is they are authorized by me to teach and certify others in. Anything else they teach and do not have listed on a certificate from me, they are not officially authorized by me to teach or certify others in. We are all human and some tend to rest on laurels. Consider this, and when in doubt look and ask to see proof. Only those who purchase from me get my signature on any test.

Years ago after starting all this off with 17 Panther Productions, I realized I had put 18 Daoist Palms on the map worldwide. There was enough information on those 17 tapes to make up a system bigger than most, and yet it was a small fraction of my information. I knew that to grow as a professional martial artist I would need to use my ‘chi’ to tackle the parts of technology that would aid me in the future. This is the reason I let my students help produce back into the system. I stay available to the students that are learning our system via phone or e-mail. I am overall pleased with these productions given the fact that we worked as a team to do these. I learned to digitize and edit on my own so that I would be a further example to my students to strive to take control of all aspects of producing and running an entrepreneurial home study program.

Certain videos in the nerve hit and 18 Daoist Palms White Eyebrow, as well as others may have an occasional glitch or missing frame, but never is the learning of the form a problem as between the different views and the use of the brightness control that comes with Windows Media Player, any real brown or black belt in any art worth their salt would be able to learn in my opinion. Even a smart beginner could learn. If they had at least decent ‘basics’ training ahead of time in any art that would be a plus. The bottom line is that even if you are a complete novice, my first three Panther tapes called ‘laying the foundation,’ would give you all the basic keys and special jargon to interpret anything we teach.

There are no refunds on these offers. Call me personally before you order and especially if you plan to order the herb series or order any herbs to make jow. Remember you must be 21 and call first before ordering herbs, no exceptions! The CD videos again, are .WMV files best played with Windows Media Player (a free download.) An hour video is compressed in to a file size around 150 megs average.

*Note: These were designed to learn on your computer monitor screen. For those who travel or use laptops, this media format is very practical. Most all of these individual titles we offer on VHS as well, at $60 per title. I do have the capability to mix/match custom orders of the CD’s as well as the videos. Herbs:

Booklets 2 to 7 in .PDF files made from Microsoft Publisher and burned to CD. These are formulas straight from my collection of Mew Hing’s 18 Daoist Palms ‘Sacred Chi Building Herbal Lists.’ Each booklet has 5 formulas! The booklets are for study purposes only. We make no medical claims nor encourage you to try these. In some instances a few formulas we still are not sure of. Nevertheless we share what we do know and the formulas contain re-written Chinese from the monk’s original handwriting. If you value authentic five elder herbal information, you will want these to study. We also give a Latin or common name as well as the weights in Chinese. When I can, I include Western weights as well, for half gallon to gallon amounts. This package deal also includes my herb books 2 – 4. Each of these shares 5 formulas broken down a bit better. All booklets and books have color photos of each ingredient to aid in the study. This package deal is enhanced by adding our Chinese Herbal Database of about 444 ingredients, alphabetized by Chinese Mandarin Pin/Yin names and a color photo. Finally, we give you a booklet of 40 points, times and effects that Panther did not get. These will give you comprehensive knowledge from a western and eastern point of view to better understand any truisms behind the oral tradition passed down within our system as to the effects of hitting or curing these areas. *Note: These are the original un-edited first productions that include me on every tape giving the original introduction and often times doing a special meditation for the tape. There are occasional missing frames and a few glitches, but nothing to stop you from learning the material. The original version with me on each tape adding an introduction and rare extra footage make these a great package deal buy on CD video. Remember, the television is often not available. The CDs can make it easy to learn a few moves at a time on the computer screen to then go practice. It comes in handy on production shoot as well. Often times one can merely refer quickly to a new move while practicing outdoors or away from home. These tapes briefly cover some of the dim mak points Panther did not get as, they can be applied to the form. Between the different angles and different speeds of breakdowns throughout each form, the home quality is a minor point as overall these tapes converted to Video CD are a great rare purchase. Remember to make these forms fit your body type and work complimentary to any formal or informal system of training you may have had. If you have no solid basics training I recommend getting Panther tapes 1 to 3 in our series #1 of the first 18 Daoist Palms tapes we did for Panther, especially the ‘Laying the Foundation,’ tapes.

Tai Chi Chuan:

White Tiger Tai Chi Chuan Grandmaster Parker Linekin of the ‘Doo’s’ family Tai Chi Chuan teaches a very rare Tai Chi Chuan form Two-Person and Solo Form. Great applications are shown. I filmed this tape myself here at my home. This video CD also contains a very complimentary video on the (3) very rare 18 Daoist Palms’ White Hair Fist Push-Hand Forms!
