18 Daoist Palms' Speed/Quick Reactions Herbal List

This is one of the rare formulas I inherited. Although my certificates state training in herbs, it helps to have that backed up by my former teacher and I on video with him teaching me step by step on video (about an hour,) in the fine art of making hit pills from scratch. In other words teaching me what herbs to grind first and which to add. Once in a fine powder he taught me how to cook and detoxify in honey. Number 19 ingredient in this formula is toxic. I am on video doing these processes with his constant supervision. This part of kung fu training few will be able to say they learned from a five elder Jung Shee and got on video in the 1980's.

According to legend the monks would make pills to swallow prior to going into battle. These hit pills were designed to quick start the body's immune system. Obviously a heavy club strike would cause a hematoma or internal organ rupture. Even a stab wound would benefit from blood that could coagulate. So the benefit according to legend was to jump start the chi, be hyped up and at the same time 'know or believe' that the legendary pills would also jump start the immune system before getting hurt, for a better chance of survival, coagulation of the blood being a factor. I do not recommend you need or should try this. Always be 21 and seek more than one second opinion from a western, eastern and licensed Chinese herbalist. Consult as well as study Chinese medicine. Remember you are responsible for your own actions. Study the formula to better understand 'why' the monks may have concluded it was beneficial for mentioned purpose. Do your homework. Learn the Korean names. Find out the metaphysics of Chinese herbology.

I use this formula as a jow for external use only. It quickly brings the chi to the hands. I do not use it often, and in small amounts (few drops on the hands before Springy Palm training.)
