In the year 2006 after 35 years of study and living the principles that helped make me one
of the most famous martial artists in history. This is a short introduction concerning The
Urantia Book papers that surfaced in the 1930’s. The specialness of the book is that angelic
hosts left it by permission of our Lord Jesus Christ. The book was care taken and published
in 1955. I believe my copy to be the third sold in a “bookstore,” out of an initial 10,000
printing. My book is from 1958. I first encountered the book while doing time in San Bruno
County jail around 1971, and by 1973-1974 I had read it page to finish mostly in shamanic
states of consciousness to better discern – (what I thought back then) – the innate filtering
I would do from my Catholic upbringing as a kid – deep into the Bible. The person that turned
me on to the book was the one time equipment manager for the Jefferson Airplane rock group of
the 60’s. The two of us were vegetarians. He was on transfer to or from Huntsville, Texas. He
had a ball and chain tattoo on his leg. Back in those days not many knew of The Urantia Book,
albeit the famous 60’s book Leary and Baba Ram Das put out called “Be Here Now” did list it as
a recommended book to “hang out with.”
I remember recommending the ‘Foundation’ start a web site and read the book via audio to my
friend Steve Drier before they actually did it. I recently bought a couple of books as gifts
and was really surprised to get it in hard bound (all 2197 pages) along with a DVD over 6 gigs
of professional indexing and excellent professional audio reading. I got inspired, and within
the last four months have put together a 4 CD series on the first half of the book, or parts
1 & 2 of 4. Spiritual enlightenment is the backbone of a great martial artist. Anyone can teach
“metaphysics,” but true metaphysics needs to come from a grandmaster well versed in The Urantia
Book Anything less is a day late and a dollar short, and basically worthless to truly understand
“chi.”
We at 18 Daoist Palms Kung Fu strongly believe in God. We appreciate the Bible, but believe this
is the latest or Fifth Epochal Revelations that deepen biblical understanding. I got to where I
am in the martial arts largely due to faith and courage in Jesus’ “Father Fragment” or Holy Spirit
within since Pentecost – in other words personal experience via the religion of the “I am”. These
series of readings from the parts of the book, “must” be traversed in sequential order least you
not learn the ‘terminology’ necessary to understand as you advance through the book.
I am now the first Grandmaster of Five Elder lineage to reveal the highest true metaphysics via
the Fifth Epochal Revelations in all martial arts history. There are energies as yet undiscovered,
thus all attempts to share the meaning of chi in my opinion can only come through intense study of
The Urantia Book. Grounded in your own faith and without judgment, listen to each CD in sequence
and ponder. See if you don’t find most of your questions answered as you sequentially read or l
isten to me read the .wma files sequentially. I am the Grandmaster, and if you want to know
enlightenment as I believe for the ambiance of learning this art, then I invite you to listen
and learn. I have read Blavatsky and others who did not truly believe Jesus is the Only True
Master. I hope that my humble attempt to share enlightenment to all seekers of truth, will
hasten the inevitable healing of our planet into true light and life as was originally planned.

domain. We now have The Old Testament, New Testament and The Urantia Book. Join me on this great
